The head of the Iran-Syria Joint Chamber of Commerce stressed the need to expand the economic ties between the Iranian and Syrian private sectors.

In the economic and investment meeting of Iranian and Syrian economic activists, which was attended by the Minister of Industry, Mine, and Trade of Iran, Ministers of Industry, Economy, and Foreign Trade of Syria and Iranian and Syrian economic activists and producers in Damascus, Keyvan Kashefi considered the most important issue the expansion of economic exchanges between the private sectors of the two countries reminding the difficult path crossed by Syria.

He added: "We have traveled a good path with an appropriate acceleration in the past three years concurrent with reconstruction start in Syria, and today, we firmly declare that we are at the best level of ties between the chambers of commerce of the two countries."

A member of the board of directors of the Iran Chamber added: "We expect to see 100% growth in economic exchanges between the two countries next year."

The Iranian Trade Center was inaugurated in Damascus of Syria with the presence of Dr. Fatemi Amin, Minister of Industry, Mine, and Trade, Mr. Samer Khalil, Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade of Syria, and Mr. Gholam Hossein Shafei, Chairman of the Iranian Chamber and heads of the Syrian Chambers of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture.

Keyvan Kashefi, head of the Iran-Syria Joint Chamber, presented a report on the purchase and equipping of the center.

He announced the readiness of the center for the presence of Iranian economic activists and declared: All services and consultations required by Iranian companies will be provided in this center.

According to the head of the Iran-Syria Joint Chamber, the center has been put into operation due to the efforts of the Iran-Syria Joint Chamber.

Kashefi added: This center is providing services to Iranian companies and economic activists in an area of ​​five thousand square meters on 12 floors in the center of Damascus City.

According to the International Federation of Chambers of Commerce (ICC), the Kermanshah Chamber was recognized as the top and most active chamber in September among 2,780 chambers of commerce worldwide.

According to the Kermanshah governor, the development of Kermanshah should be ceded to the private sector and the Chamber of Commerce, which is the flag-holder of this sector.

In the meeting of the Government-Private Sector Negotiation Council of Kermanshah Province, Houshang Bazvand mentioned the Kermanshah Chamber of Commerce as a capable sector, which has been following the affairs of economic activists up in recent years by organizing regular meetings of the Government-Private Sector Negotiation Council.

Emphasizing the need to remove obstacles to the activities of the private sector, he stated: "Unfortunately, there are currently difficult obstacles to the activities of the private sector in Kermanshah, significant parts of which are mental and software obstacles and can be solved."
The head of the Kermanshah Chamber also criticized the lack of a special procedure among banks in terms of how to pay facilities to economic activists.

Stating that banking issues are among the most important factors affecting the inadequacy of the business environment, Keyvan Kashefi added: "There are several main issues in the meantime that we will witness an improvement in the business environment if we eliminate them”.

The head of the Kermanshah Chamber mentioned the four-year performance of the Kermanshah Government-Private Sector Negotiation Council and continued: "During this period, we had 49 meetings with 308 enactment, of which 42 were national. In addition, the average rank of the Provincial Government-Private Sector Negotiation Council of the Kermanshah Province has been 8.5 in the country in these four years.

Kermanshah Chamber was ranked fourth among 34 chambers of commerce in the country after publication of the alignment results of chambers of commerce throughout Iran.

Kermanshah took the fourth place in the country after Tehran, Kerman, and Mashhad provinces.

The Governor of Kermanshah presented a statue and a certification of appreciation for the efforts of the Kermanshah Chamber of Commerce and the engineer, Mr. Keyvan Kashefi, for the constant support of the people, especially during the earthquake.
Stating that the Kermanshah Chamber of Commerce was always beside the people in events and problems, including the earthquake on 2017, Houshang Bazvand emphasized: The aids of the Kermanshah Chamber of Commerce was one of the first aids that reached the people of the earthquake-stricken regions.
He added: Kermanshah Chamber of Commerce has always been working in other crises such as floods, coronavirus disease, etc., that is a commendable sense of altruism.

The 71st meeting of the Government-Private Sector Negotiation Council of Kermanshah Province was held to investigate the private sector problems in the two sections of pharmacy problems with municipality and the province's construction industry problems.

The head of the Kermanshah Chamber said: Kermanshah Province ranked fifth in the country in terms of Government-Private Sector Negotiation Council meetings in the second half of last year.

Keivan Kashefi continued in the 68th session of the Government-Private Sector Negotiation Council: "Achieving this rank is due to the appropriate number of sessions as well as their expert aspect. In addition, we experienced the highest growth among the country’s provinces in terms of position promotion."

The necessity for mechanization of agricultural equipment

Kashefi then stressed the necessity for mechanization of agricultural equipment and called for more coordination among the departments in this area and the cooperation of banks.

He believes that the mechanization of agricultural equipment will pave the way for a leap in production in the agricultural sector.

Emphasizing the necessity to provide the conditions for a leap in production in the agricultural sector in the continuation of the meeting, the Kermanshah Province governor said: we must move from traditional agriculture and livelihood towards industrial and economic agriculture.

Houshang Bazvand mentioned agriculture as one of the great capacities of the province's expansion and continued: the province's agriculture should not be solely for the purpose of cultivating crops and livelihood, but we should move towards industrial and economic agriculture.
