Referring to the good and constructive interactions that have always existed between the Kermanshah Chamber and the Iraqi Consul Generals, Keyvan Kashefi, the head of the Kermanshah Chamber, said in this meeting: "The capacity of the consulate should be used to increase trade relations."

Adding Kermanshah has a lot of potentials for the trade expansion, he said: "Most of Iran's exports to Iraq are made through Kermanshah."

A member of the board of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce also reminded the fourth ranking of the Kermanshah province in the country's total exports and

continued: The three provinces that conducted more exports than Kermanshah were ports and connected to the sea and Kermanshah has the largest share among non-port provinces.

Kashefi believes that some part of the current and good position of Kermanshah in the field of exports is due to the geopolitical position of the province and the border with both the Kurdistan and the central government, and no other provinces in the country has such a feature.

The head of the Kermanshah Chamber referred to the strategy of the last three or four years based on interaction with the central and southern parts of Iraq and said: "Therefore, the two borders of Khosravi and Somar are of special importance to us and it seems that the export focus on these borders will increase in the future.

"We also have several plans for the exchange of trade delegations with the central and southern parts of Iraq, the most important of which is consultations for the admission of delegations from Mosul, Baghdad, and Kirkuk," Kashfi added.

The head of the Kermanshah Chamber went on to make several demands of the Iraqi Consul General, one of the most important of which was to facilitate the issuance of visas for businessmen and economic activists, so that this process can be conducted easily for those who have a official trade birth certificate and a commercial card.
