The head of the Kermanshah Chamber mentioned the Iraqi Land as a import gateway for Iranian goods to Syria and Lebanon and said: "Each part of the (Iraq) Land and central parts of Iraq requires its own trade patterns."

In a summit of economic activists with the Iranian Consul General in Sulaimaniyah, Iraq, which was held today (February 12), Keyvan Kashefi mentioned the history of the trade ties between Iran and Iraq, which began through Sulaimaniyah and the (Iraqi) Land and added: Salmaniyeh has a long-standing trade relation with Iran.

He continued: "We had the largest exchange of trade delegations with Sulaimaniyah, followed by Erbil and Duhok ."

According to a member of the board of directors of the Iran Chamber, a significant number of Iranian companies already have active offices in Sulaimaniyah, and the chance of investment in this sector is very high.
"Stating that (Iraqi) Land, especially Sulaymaniyah province, continues to play a key and different role in trade with Iraq," Kashefi said: Although trade with Iraq has shifted to the Arab part of Iraq in recent years due to the large number of provinces and the large population, the (Iraqi) Land still has its special place.
